KIRI VAS
Genesis Assist, Billing & Business Development Leader
Kiri Vas has over 15 years of experience in customer service, billing reconciliation, insurance relations and accounts receivable. She is committed to the advocacy of both provider and client. Her experience includes but is not limited to the knowledge of multiple clearinghouses and EHR systems, insurance reconciliation and appeals, collections procedures, consulting and administrative excellence. Kiri takes great pride in the values, vision, and mission of Genesis and is passionate about making a difference in this world by touching and inspiring lives in all that she does.
CAMERON ASHWORTH
Genesis Counseling Center, Vice-President | Genesis Assist, Leadership & Consulting
Cameron Ashworth is Co-Founder of Genesis Autism Center and brings an extensive background with over 15 years of successful business management and proven leadership. His experience includes business coaching and consultation with private practices across the nation, organizational development, business planning, developing and delivering a compelling vision, business model design and implementation, developing and implementing strategic goals and mission delivery, building effective teams, creating and managing budgets, operations, restructuring, marketing and branding, and human resource management.
Cameron has a B.S. in Religion with a minor in Business Administration and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also has an MA in Human Services with an Executive Leadership cognate from Liberty University and graduated with high distinction. He is passionate and committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of others; helping them to reach their maximum potential.
Personal hobbies include: spending time with family, running, hiking, golfing, Frisbee golf, tennis,
and reading.
STEVE GREER
Genesis Assist, Co-Founder, and Leadership & Business Coach
Steve Greer is the Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Counseling Center, Co-Founder of Genesis Assist and Genesis Autism Center, a consultant, speaker, and leadership coach. He has over 35 years of corporate leadership experience with Procter and Gamble. Steve is passionate about personal, leadership and organizational growth.
DR. TRINA YOUNG GREER
Genesis Assist, Co-Founder & Clinical Director
Dr. Trina Young Greer, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, is the founder and Executive Director of Genesis Counseling Center and Co-Founder of Genesis Assist and Genesis Autism Center. Genesis is an outpatient counseling group with multiple sites, based in Virginia. Dr. Greer obtained her Doctorate of Psychology degree from Regent University. She obtained an Educational Specialist degree in Counseling from The College of William and Mary. She holds 3 behavioral health licenses (LCP, LPC, LMFT). She is passionate about applying best practice models to bring operational excellence to clinical settings of Christian counseling.

Our Story
Genesis Assist was started in 2013 with the goal to help behavioral health practices grow and thrive in touching and inspiring more lives. The leaders of Genesis Assist have led the growth of Genesis Counseling Center which is a large multi-state practice founded in 2006 that serves over 10,000 clients a month providing counseling, psychiatric testing and assessment, and medication management services. Our leadership has a combined experience of over a century in the behavioral health field, and over 50 years of combined leadership experience in corporate and small business.
Unlike typical medical billing companies whose background is narrow in focus, our leadership in building and running a large behavioral health practice gives us understanding of how billing, insurance panel credentialing, etc. connect together to support a thriving private practice. We have partnered with many private practices across the US helping them achieve their goals and we are ready to assist you!
